Football and rugby league to music

Hit The North

Last weekend EFW made a late decision to hit the north and take in a bit of football and rugby league action. We saw Peterborough spank Huddersfield at Old Trafford in the League One play-off final, followed that up with a brief stop over at The Reebok Stadium, Bolton before rounding off the weekend at Wigan Warriors v Hull Kingston Rovers.

Instead of a report - we've done rugby league before (nobody was interested), and we'd never beat this Huddersfield Town feature - here's a short video of snaps from the weekend accompanied by a bit of music.

I hope you enjoyed that? We were going to use Hit The North by The Fall for the music, but we needed a PRS License for that, and could you imagine asking Mark E. Smith for permission? Rather you than me old chap...

Wigan's mascot has to be one of the maddest things I've ever seen. Seeing that thing bouncing around the Knowsley Road pitch at half time on a boozey Good Friday is enough to push anyone over the edge. Nice photos!
